Fruition Interactive is hiring a PPC ad specialist to help us continue to create exceptional ROI on our clients’ PPC campaigns and to be a thought leader on PPC advertising within Fruition and within the community at large.
What a PPC specialist does at Fruition
When you join our team, you’ll:
- Act as a liaison with Fruition’s clients and attend briefings, understand business needs and create all content for PPC campaigns
- Create campaign strategies and campaigns using all major PPC platforms – Google AdWords, LinkedIn, Facebook
- Create initial keywords and ad copy for PPC campaigns
- Optimize keywords, ad copy and other campaign dimensions to increase ROI (as measured through CTR and Conversion Rate)
- Assist Fruition’s SEO team with keyword selection for client campaigns
- Create Google Places listings for Fruition clients
- Advise Fruition clients and team members on appropriate budgets for PPC campaigns
- Advise the Fruition Interactive management team on emerging trends in PPC advertising
- Manage all PPC programs and report on performance of each; including analytical retrospectives for campaigns
- Write, for our company blog and elsewhere, about emerging trends and effective tactics around PPC advertising
- Monitor each campaign’s strategy to ensure it aligns with the specific goals and objectives presented in the briefing process
What you need to do the job
In terms of education and experience you’ve gotta have:
- Post-secondary degree/diploma in marketing or equivalent experience
- Google AdWords certification (or willingness to achieve certification in first 30 days on the job)
- 2+ years’ experience managing PPC campaigns
In terms of skills, we’d need to see:
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent computer skills – Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint); Google Apps (mail, docs, calendar); AdWords, LinkedIn and Facebook PPC management interfaces; Google Analytics; 3rd-party tools for planning and managing PPC campaigns; Skype, gChat or iChat for instant messaging; Social Media tools like Twitter, Hootsuite, Google+, WordPress.
- Web savvy (black belt level)

This is initially a freelance or part-time contract position, with the opportunity to grow into a full-time, permanent role. The role would be a great fit for someone who’s been doing a similar role full-time or as part of their full-time job, but who’s now taking an extended parental or caregiver leave.
